The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of story mama activity on children's servant leadership and perception of the elderly. To do this, a total of 40 children aged five years from two day-care centers located in G district of Seoul were selected and divided equally into experimental group and control group.
For the experimental group, story mama activity was performed once a week for 13 weeks. The results of this study, showed a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the servant leadership and the perception of the elderly. Story mama activity positively influenced the development of young children's servant leadership and the perception of the elderly. The results of this study reaffirm the educational value of story mama activity and suggests the necessity to apply the activity early childhood education policy.
