The Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE) hosted an expert forum entitled “Supporting the Healthy Growth and Development of Young Children” on April 29, 2025 (Tuesday), at the KICCE main conference room in Jung-gu, Seoul, in cooperation with the Early Childhood Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Education.

The event was attended by Min Kyu Kang, Director General of the Early Childhood Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Education, and Ock Kyeung Hwang, President of the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education, along with officials from the Ministry of Education and local education offices, scholars, researchers, and parent representatives.

The forum served as a venue for gathering diverse expert opinions and discussing policy measures aimed at protecting young children from excessive private education and promoting their healthy growth and development.
