The Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE) hosted the 2nd Infant and Toddler Future Forum 2025 on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, at Sky Hall (21F), Myeong-dong Post Tower, under the theme “Politics Makes Policy, Policy Shapes the Future.”

The forum opened with welcoming remarks by Ock Kyeung Hwang, Director of KICCE. Professor Dae-Kwon Park (Department of Education, The Graduate School of Korean Studies) delivered a presentation titled “Politics and Policy through the Lens of the Free-Semester System.” The designated discussants were Professor Jin Wook Kim (Department of Child Studies, Myongji University), Professor Yoon Hee Kim (Department of Early Childhood Education, Duksung Women’s University), and Joo Ae Ko, Deputy Director at the ChildFund Korea Research Institute (Green Umbrella). The event concluded with a general discussion.
