The Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE) held its Second Half Research Advisory Committee Meeting on Friday, November 7, 2025, in the main conference room. 

Internal committee members included President Ock Kyeung Hwang and Yunjin Lee, Head of the Office of Planning and Coordination. External members in attendance were Hyun Ah Kang, Vice President of the Korean Council for Children's Rights; Young Mi Go, President of the Korean Society for Early Childhood Education; Nak Heung Kim, President of the Korean Society for Early Childhood Teacher Education; Jin Wook Kim, President of the Korean Association of Childcare Support; Sung Sik Na, President of the Korean Open Association for Early Childhood Education; Sun Young Park, Vice President of the Korean Child and Family Welfare Association; Chae Sun Oh, President of the Korean Association for Early Childhood Education Curriculum; Se Hee Lim of the Korean Society of Child Welfare; and Soon Chul Hong, Vice President of the Korean Society for Maternal and Child Health.

As a government-funded research institute, KICCE first shared the Institute’s roles and responsibilities, and then presented the research projects to be implemented in 2026 in line with the national policy agenda, along with the action plan for achieving its management objectives. The meeting concluded with an announcement of KICCE’s 20th Anniversary Ceremony and International Conference, to be held on December 5, and an invitation for committee members to attend.
