'Childcare Research Forum for Establishing a Community-Centered Care System Complementing National Care' Held 


The Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE) held the ‘Childcare Research Forum for Establishing a Community-Centered Care System Complementing National Care’ at Lucky Conference, located in Dongja-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on May 9, 2024.This forum served as the final report meeting for LH’s commissioned research project, “Integrated Care Hub Establishment Plan for Improving Childcare Infrastructure within Public Housing Sites.” LH sponsored the event, while the Parenting Policy Research Institute and Jeonglim Architecture co-hosted it. Experts presented on topics such as the installation and operational model (draft) of childcare clusters, estimation of integrated childcare demand, legal and institutional foundations for establishing childcare clusters, and planning criteria for childcare cluster development. These discussions are expected to contribute to the more efficient development of the national care system.
